I Got Rejected from The University of Michigan's Creative Writing Programs

I got rejected from The University of Michigan’s Creative Writing programs both as an undergraduate student and as a graduate student. I’m actually telling you this to give you hope. Maybe you are a writer or a painter or something and no one understands your work, or they don’t think it’s good enough. Screw them. Keep doing it anyways. I didn’t apply to the best Creative Writing program in America which was in Iowa because I was afraid if I got in I could not say no, and I didn’t want to move to Iowa. I wanted to move to New York. I did get into Columbia University, they were rated in the top ten, but I don’t remember what number they were.
