I didn't write this poem to amuse you, I wrote it to entertain myself.

I didn’t write this poem because I know how to think, I wrote it because I don’t know what to think.

I didn’t write this poem because life doesn’t make sense, I wrote it because I wonder why I thought it would.

I didn't write this poem because I know you are there, I wrote it because I don't know where I am.

I didn't write this poem because there is no god, I wrote it because god wrote me.

I didn’t write this poem because I know what I am saying, I wrote it because I don't say nothing enough.

I didn't write this poem because I remember my life, I wrote it because I made up most of my memory.

I didn’t write this poem because I am a poet, I wrote it because no one knows me.

I didn't write this poem because I know why I am here, I wrote it because you might know why I am here.

I didn’t write this poem because god is a girl, I wrote it because you are god.

I didn’t write this poem because life is not good, I wrote it because I am not good.

I didn’t write this poem to figure it all out, I wrote it because there is nothing to figure out.

I didn't write this poem because I know anything, I wrote it because I’m worried there is nothing.

I didn’t write this poem because life has meaning, I wrote it because I fear it might not.

I didn’t write this poem because I can’t sing, I can’t sing so I wrote this poem.

I didn’t write this poem, someone called me did.
