I was a ghost and you were the human who knew I was in the room.

I was a man and you were the woman who understood it didn’t matter.

I was a dancer and you swept the floor that I danced on.

I was a bird and you were the lion who knew my song.

I was writing a poem and you were the one who already knew the words.

I was found dead many times, but you were the one who gave me life.

I was given a life many times, but you were the one I lived for.

I was alone today, but you were in the room far away in a memory.

I was just a soul but you loved me and showed me how to be god.
